You may take your scooter /motorcycle to any licensed repair shop or you may chose to bring the scooter to our Parts /Service department located at 1260 West Holt Blvd., Ontario, CA  91762. You are responsible for transporting your vehicle to and from our service center.  We offer no towing or transporting services to or from our shop.  If you buy your scooter/motorcycle in a crate, (not assembled), the scooter/motorcycle must be assembled by a certified mechanic.  You must show proof of purchase that vehicle was sold and all documents (invoice, sales contract) related to vehicle sale. You must also keep records of vehicle maintenance (oil changes, tune ups, etc) for your vehicle warranty to remain in effect.  Any defective parts that falls within the warranty period must be returned to our warehouse with a copy of your invoice, you must pay for shipping.  NO COD will be accepted, please include the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) number. This warranty is restricted to selected make and models.  Any modifications to the exhaust, engine or transmission will automatically void the warranty.

What is covered under this warranty:
Jacar Enterprises, LLC provides you with a limited PARTS ONLY warranty from manufacturers defects on engine components, drive train and transmission. This means that customer is responsible for the labor cost associated with the repairs.

There is NO LABOR INCLUDED on this warranty.

 

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY COVERS THE FOLLOWING PARTS: Engine long block assembly, including all internal lubricated parts, i.e. Rings, pistons, pins, crankshaft and, main bearings, the connecting rods, and rod bearings, camshaft bearings, timing chain gears, rocker arms, valve springs, valve guides, valve seats, valve push rods, valve lifters, and oil pump. Additionally, the engine head (s), engine block and cylinder barrels will be covered if they are solely as a result of the mechanical failure of one or more of the internal lubricated components specified above. The Cooling system must be in good working order including cooling fans. Accessory items, including but not limited to electrical components of all types (distributor, alternator and all sensors and electrical control devices), fuel systems, gaskets, seals, filters, mounts linkage and fluids are not covered by this agreement. TRANSFER CASE: All internal lubricated parts contained within the transfer case. The transfer case itself will be covered if damage solely as a result of the mechanical failure of one or more of the internal lubricated components contained within the transfer case. Accessory items, including but not limited to, U-joints, electrical components, linkage, seals, gaskets, mounts or fluids are not covered by this Agreement.  DIFFERENTIAL: All internal lubricated parts contained within the drive axle housing case. The drive axle housing itself if damaged solely as a result of the mechanical failure of one or more or the internal lubricated components contained the drive axle housing. Accessory items, including but not limited to, backing plates, all brake system components, cables, controls, linkage, vents, pumps, U-joints, electrical controls, mounts, seals, gaskets, and fluids are not covered by this Agreement. TRANSMISSION (Automatic or Standard): All internal lubricated parts contained within the transmission case. The transmission case itself if damaged solely as a result of mechanical failure of one or more of the internal lubricated components contained within the transmission case. The Complete hydraulic system must be flushed including integral transfer case, oil cooler, lines, and new filter(s) installed Accessory items, including but not limited to, modulators, governors, electrical controls, linkage, mounts, seals, gaskets, and fluids are not covered by this Agreement.  COVERAGE AND LIMITATIONS: You must have a professional motorcycle mechanic (any small engine repair shop, motorcycle shop, or local auto repair shop) or an authorized Jacar Enterprises, LLC’s  Dealer to assemble your new scooter and do the prep work. You will need to provide proof of this when filing a warranty claim. Keep your receipts. Subject to limitations stated in this agreement, Jacar Enterprises, LLC agrees to replace a covered component if the covered component fails as a result of one or more of the internal lubricated parts within the component stated warranty period from the date of purchase, while the component is being used under the conditions and in the manner specified by its original manufacturer. REPAIRED COMPONENTS: Jacar Enterprises, LLC. has to right to repair or modify the defective part and reuse it as long as it is free of foreseeable defects.

LABOR TO REPAIR OR REPLACE PARTS: Jacar Enterprises, LLC does not pay or reimburse any labor cost.  THIS AGREEMENT AND LIMITED WARRANTY IS VOID IF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING IS TRUE:

 

LIMITED WARRANTY TRANSFERABILITY:

NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR AGREEMENTS: THERE ARE NO AGREEMENTS OR WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OTHER THAN THOSE STATED IN THIS AGREEMENT. JACAR ENTERPRISES, LLC. SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PAYMENT OF DAMAGES, OTHER THAN THE SUMS SPECIFIED IN THIS AGREEMENT AND LIMITED WARRANTY, FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM INJURY, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, RENTAL VEHICLES, PROFITS, OR INCOME TO THE CUSTOMER AS A RESULT OF A FAILURE OF ANY COMPONENT OR PART.  TOWING CHARGES: All towing charges incurred are the responsibility of the customer.

NO OTHER AGREEMENT: There are no other agreements between the parties with regards to the components purchased except as stated in this agreement & limited warranty.

REPLACEMENT PART: Jacar Enterprises, LLC. reserves the right to inspect the defective part before replacing it. On some cases Jacar Enterprises, LLC will require customer to send in the defective part. The inspection process might take from 2-4 business days after its arrival to the designated inspection office. Jacar Enterprises, LLC will decide if the part in question is defective or otherwise. Jacar Enterprises, LLC does not reimburse shipping fees. Determination of Defective part: Jacar Enterprises, LLC provides a telephone and email based support structure. In order to determine the defective part, either 1 or both of the method will be used. However if the defective part fails to be identified, the customer will have to take the vehicle in to an authorized dealer for a second opinion.

Jacar Enterprises, LLC does not reimburse labor fees.

What is not covered under warranty:
Battery, alarm remote controls, radios, cassette players, light bulbs, fan and fan cover, muffler, tires & inner tube, rims & wheels, brakes pads, transmission belts, speedometer cables, throttle cables, plastic covers or lenses, side view mirrors, vinyl (seats, covers, etc.), lock sets, plastic parts included but not limited to fenders, covers, and other such plastic body panels parts.
